Quite another interesting question that is often asked on forums that are discussing cloud computing, so it is my pleasure to provide some commentary within this article.
A Private cloud is a term that some vendors use to describe offerings that emulate cloud computing on dedicated networks. These products basically claim to “deliver some benefits of cloud computing without the pitfalls” while capitalizing on data security, corporate governance, and reliability concerns. In other words, this type of cloud is a marketing term for a proprietary computing network which offers hosted services to a limited number of people behind a firewall. It is also known as internal cloud or corporate cloud.
